Our Vineshaper is a hand-held, hydraulic shears unit that is ideal for growers wanting to retrain old and valued vines.

The Vineshaper has been specifically designed to handle the task of reshaping old, but valued vines to better suit today's husbandry techniques. It will easily and effortlessly cut through 100mm diameter vine and the support wire with one snip, and with a safety that is impossible with a chain saw.

You simply cut back close to the vine's trunk, the section between each vine drops out for easy removal, and you rewire and retrain new growth for easier picking, pruning and spraying.

The unit works from tractor hydraulics, which supplies ample power to blades made from steel so tough it is used in earth moving equipment. It is operated by an in-built on-off switch, which allows the user to have both hands safely on the unit at all times. This is a ruggedly effective unit that successfully fills a long-standing need.
